Benefits paid by stage of severity
Each payment is a percentage of the sum insured, according to the stage at which the condition is diagnosed.
25%
Early stage
Early Critical Illness
Paid per condition, up to 100% within the same group
50%
Intermediate stage

Major Critical Illness
100% per group, less any benefit already paid
Up to 500% in total of the sum insured — each main condition group pays up to 100%. Once a group has paid out in full, cover for that group ends while the other groups continue (a subsequent severe-stage claim in a different group must be at least one year apart).

iA rider — a main policy is required first
The 108-condition multi-pay critical illness plan is a rider that must be attached to a main life policy, so a main life policy is required first. The sum insured of this rider may not exceed five times the sum insured of the main policy (for the applicable distribution channel).
Example
For critical illness cover of THB 1,000,000 → the main life policy needs a sum insured of at least THB 200,000 (1,000,000 ÷ 5)
The minimum sum insured for this rider is THB 500,000, and it must not be lower than the minimum sum insured of the main policy. Conditions are as set by the insurer.
